About

Built around how buildings actually run.

Campbell Shaw coordinates the services that support commercial, industrial and institutional facilities through a single operating model, one agreement and a defined account structure. The model serves one building or an entire portfolio.

Who We Are

Operational first.

Campbell Shaw Facility Solutions is a field services company. Our work includes scheduled cleaning programs, grounds and winter response, building maintenance, project and infrastructure work, and the staffing that supports all of it.

We are based in Etobicoke and work across the Greater Toronto Area, with project and field work extending through southwestern Ontario. Broader portfolio requirements are assessed by location and scope.

The model is built around consistency: a written scope, informed field teams and account governance that holds the same standard whether we service one property or a portfolio spread across several municipalities.

Integrated Facility Solutions Model

Five services, one contract.

Consolidate several services across several properties under one master agreement, or engage a single category and add the rest later. The scope, supervision and review process are structured the same way.

01

Cleaning & Environmental

Scheduled janitorial programs, floor and carpet care, washroom sanitation and periodic work, run by supervised field teams.

02

Exterior & Grounds

Grounds care, landscape maintenance and construction, snow and ice management, and seasonal exterior programs.

03

Building & Technical

Building maintenance, repairs, pest control and technical facility support coordinated through a single point of contact.

04

Construction & Infrastructure

Renovation, demolition, civil infrastructure work, site improvements and facility upgrades delivered as scoped projects.

05

Site Support & Staffing

Porter services, facility staffing, event support and temporary operational cover for planned and unplanned demand.

How We Work

Scope before mobilization.

Engagements begin with a site review suited to the scope. For a portfolio, we review every building rather than a sample. We look at each property the way the people who run it do: traffic patterns, access windows, current conditions and priority areas.

From there, we document each task, area and frequency, then agree the schedule. Multi-property engagements roll up under one agreement, with a specification per site beneath it. Team assignments are planned to build site familiarity and maintain dependable coverage.

Supervisors inspect against that scope. Site changes, added work and short-notice requests go to a named account lead, supported by site supervisors who know the properties and a defined escalation path when a decision is needed quickly. Continuity therefore does not rest on one person being reachable.

Consolidating categories under one provider also removes duplicated onboarding, insurance review, reporting formats and invoice runs. Inspection results and service records are reported on a set cadence, and invoicing arrives together rather than property by property and vendor by vendor.

The Campbell Shaw Standard

How the work is mobilized, delivered and reviewed.

Five steps carry every engagement from first site review through ongoing review and response. The same sequence runs on a single-site contract and a multi-property portfolio, including the transition from an incumbent provider.

01

Planning

Planning begins with site review, a written specification and a schedule matched to each property's operating hours, access rules and service priorities.

02

Transition & Mobilization

Taking over from an incumbent is treated as its own phase: handover review, equipment and consumable readiness, staffing and training in place, then a phased start so multi-property portfolios come online site by site rather than all at once.

03

Field Execution

Field teams work to the agreed sequence, site requirements and equipment plan, with supervision structured around the size and spread of the engagement.

04

Quality Oversight

Scheduled site inspections are recorded against the agreed specification, with findings, corrective actions and service history reviewed with the client on a set reporting cadence.

05

Responsive Support

Site conditions change. Call-outs, added scope and short-notice coverage run through the account team that set the program up, with a defined escalation path when a site needs a decision quickly.

People Behind the Work

Named crews, branded apparel, supervised sites.

Field staff are background-screened, briefed on site-specific requirements and arrive in Campbell Shaw apparel with the equipment the scope calls for. Supervision is structured around the size and spread of the engagement, with backup coverage and close-out procedures agreed in advance rather than improvised.

Coverage

GTA and beyond.

Toronto and the surrounding regions are our home market. Our coverage includes Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Scarborough, Oakville and the corridors between them.

Project and field work regularly extends outside the GTA, including recent work in London, Hamilton and Southwold. Portfolios with sites spread across regions are assessed as one engagement: common standards, coordinated scheduling and consolidated reporting, with supervision resourced to the geography rather than assumed.
